In order to buy items through Wiser Steward you must be a registered user and you must agree to our terms and conditions. After you have registered, just follow these simple steps:

 

 

• Click on "Post A Request" button on any page
• Fill out and submit the listing request form

How Do I Post A Listing For An Item?

Category: Select a category where you plan on placing your want ad.

Item Title: Enter the title or short description of the item you are purchasing.

Item Sub-Title: Enter a secondary title or more information on the item you wish to purchase.

Description: This is the MOST IMPORTANT part of posting an ad and making a good purchase. This is where you need to type a complete description of your item. You must clearly and accurately describe the functionality of the product. The more information and details that you provide in this field, the better the seller will know what item you need. If necessary use the brand name, model, size, material that it is made of and more. We ask you to be honest in your description so you will avoid negative feedback. Caution! You may not link to, post images or other content, or include advertisements for goods or other matter that:

(a) Describe items that you are not purchasing from the seller
(b) You do not have the right to link to
(c) Include a link to another website outside of Wiser Steward
(d) Include any content or images that are obscene, offensive, harmful to minors, invasive of anyone's privacy, or otherwise inappropriate.

Picture: Display the picture of the item you wish to purchase. This feature is optional; however, we strongly recommend you upload a picture so the sellers can visualize and understand your needs -a picture is worth a thousand words! There are no fees to upload a picture.

Quantity to purchase: Simply enter the quantity of items you wish to purchase

Target Price: This is the amount that you would like to pay for your item. We ask that you are reasonable in your request. Most of our members have seen savings anywhere from 15% to more than 40%.

Listing Duration: Enter the maximum number of days you wish your item to be open for suppliers to leave an offer. Use the calendar to select the dates you would like to begin and end your listing.

Payment Methods: Select a type of payment method that you will use for purchasing the product. You may select one or multiple payment methods.

Shipping and Delivery Requirements: Select if you would like the supplier to provide shipping and insurance cost into the price of the suppliers offer, or you can choose to arrange shipping to your location.

Spam: You may not spam Wiser Steward site, including:
(a) posting any listings where you request from users to contact you to conduct sales transactions outside wisersteward.org or otherwise advertise within a listing; or
(b) sending unsolicited commercial mailings to members of wisersteward.org.

Adult-oriented materials. You may not list any adult-oriented products, including but not limited to pornographic images, adult content within your listing request, adult-oriented items or language. If you list or upload any adult content you will be restricted from the Wiser Steward website.
